The northern most city of Chile, Arica, is mostly a mere stop over, a city that wouldn't necessarily register on the 'must see' list of Lonely Planet. But if your guide books have failed to mention the cultural treasure that is the Arica street art scene...burn them now. Up the hill behind the city a bit the common wanderer without a rush on their clocks shouldn't be troubled to find the self proclaimed Cultural Museum of the town. The neighborhood is called 'Los Industriales' and the primary paint crew goes by the tag name "Pinta Monos". The City is bombed with incredible art. Its just a question of spending enough time there to find them. Enjoy the following collection of photos and keep painting your cities poetic.
